TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
